What Happened To The Megafauna at Lake Mungo?
It was found, that the main reason of the megafauna extinction was climate change. Throughout the researches conducted, the deaths were caused by rapid global warming. This had happened after the ice age wherein animals changed their adaptations. As scientists discovered, the megafauna had come about during the ice age. Soon, the animals started to disappear when the temperature rose. This also caused them more problems, as the new environment caused the plantations and vegetation to die. The herbivores slowly started to starve and died because of the megafauna have died. As for the carnivores, they ran out of their supply of herbivores. Running out of food felt like torture.

Was The Hunting Humans Be The Purpose, For The End Of Megafauna Life? And Why?
It was discovered, that hunting humans were not the reason of their extinction. If they were the cause, the remains would not be buried. As the humans would leave them on the surface. But they were dug deep into the ground, fossilized with no oxygen or water. If this was the humans fault, there could have been a giant mudslide, covering the surface of bones, fossilizing them. The hunting humans were an intelligent species years ago. They had come up with strategies to hunt, kill and survive. It was particularly noticed, how they started fires to burn habitats and attract animals. They used techniques, such as this one to help herd animals eg. the kangaroos would stay in a pack, but when attacked, they will disperse individually. They would attract animals by burning grass, to help the new grass spurt and become new food. Eventually, this will lure the animals into a trap. This was an easier way to capture their food.
Did The Megafauna's Predators Be The Reson Of Their Extinction? And Why?
During research, I found out that predators were not the reason of megafauna extinction. This is because the predators and the prey were still in perfect condition. But the same predator for both herbivore and carnivore is a human. But the only thing that survived the human attacks, were the ones that survived the ecosystem’s collapse. If the cause of their death was the predators, the carnivores would have started to eat more of the herbivores, then the chain reaction would have the carnivores start eating the other carnivores leaving only few left.
